「Can diamonds really be made from ashes?」Initial concerns.
Diamonds have been synthetically grown since the 1950's. It is a technology first developed by GE and used extensively in Russia during this era for industrial purposes. Producing diamonds from ones ashes is merely an extended application of this proven technology.
NEWS!!
Testimonial from Swiss public notary that has audited Algordanza's diamond making process.
A notary public (or notary or public notary) in the common law world is a public officer constituted by law to serve the public in non-contentious matters usually concerned with estates, deeds, powers-of-attorney, and foreign and international business. Algordanza engaged a Swill notary「because it exposes all our manufacturing processes, validation and observation claims, so that the public can witness that we indeed have the capability to produce diamonds from cremation ashes」when asked how it could prove itself.
The notary was able to witness the carbon extraction phase from the ashes of an Algordanza client throughout the whole process, and even during the crystalization process that was time consuming - a seal on the machine was placed until the diamond was ready for extraction. At that point, a certified gemologist studied the diamond crystals and verified that they were indeed diamond.
As a result, the production method is adjudged「to have absolutely no deception or mistake」that diamonds from Algordanza are indeed produced from the ashes of the deceased. Through this exercise in due diligence, Algordanza is confident that the questioning of the possibility of producing diamonds from ashes can be laid to rest, and the trust of the general public is earned.
「How do I know this diamond was made from my husband's ashes?」Concerned.
Unfortunately, when we receive the ashes from the crematorium, there is no more scientific way to examine the ashes to ascertain whose ashes they belong to - as all traces of DNA will have been lost at this point in time. Just as there is no scientific way we can check from the diamond form, whose ashes they were created from. What we can guarentee however, is that upon receipt of ashes we will immediately conduct a composition analysis that will uniquely identify any ashes handed over in our care. From that point onwards, our production process is so tightly controlled that any mix up is extremely improbable as each step is handled one case at a time.
Process Quality
Respect, Ethics and Piety.
Algordanza not only has a proven technique in producing diamonds, it follows strict controls over the entire production process.
At Algordanza, the production of a memorial diamond is not only a technical issue, instead it engages in ethical practices that is accompanied by moral responsibility. Our handling of our client's human remains are especially sensitive and the diamonds are made with the greatest care and respect.
All orders have a unique order number and all orders are managed by its number during the process. Our clients are able to find out at any time at what stage their order is at. A chemical analysis conducted at the beginning of the process uniquely identifies the ashes to a name. The resulting data is like a chemical fingerprint and not two ashes are alike. This information is documented in the chemical composition report supplied with every memorial diamond, that fully warrants that the memorial diamond was produced soley by the contents from the ashes.
ISO Global standards for quality management awarded.
Algordanza has underwent rigorous process design and auditing in August 2007, in order to achieve an ISO standard for the production of memorial diamonds. The ISO 9000 family of standards relate to quality management systems and are designed to help organizations ensure they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders.
Algordanza has achieved the rating ISO9001:2000 that ensures that its memorial diamonds are produced with the quality assurances that are aimed at improving the standard of customer satisfaction each time.
We are delighted with this global assessment by the ISO agency and trust that our clients will benefit from our dedication to maintain our highest standards for their satisfaction.
